The Minister of Education designate has said that he won’t support the cancellation of the licensure examination since it’s the way to the future when it comes to accessing the teacher.
Licensure examination was introduced by the NDC according to the immediate past education minister, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh.
But calls for cancellation have increased over the years, however, Napo explained that the professionalization of teachers needed teachers to be licensed which comes with other allowances.
