Headies Awards 2020: American Born Nigerian Singer, Davido Refuses To Attend The Event
American born Nigerian singer, Davido, the chief executive of DMW records was nowhere to be found during the 14th Headies Awards, 2020 edition on February 21, 2021.
During the celebration of one of the biggest music award show schemes in Nigeria, Headies Award, all popular and underground musicians and stakeholders of the Nigeria Music Industry were present in their numbers.
The A-list artiste; Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Olamide, Falz, Simi Burna Boy and others embraced and graced the 2020 Headies awards with their stardom. However, Davido was missed at the show and nobody knows why but he knows the cause.
The camp of Davido, the DMW Records are yet to comment on his absenteeism. Davido was nominated in some of the categories for the awards which includes: Artist of The Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Album which has been won by Fireboy. Best Pop Single also won by Dj Neptune and Headies Viewers Choice won by his biggest rival, Wizkid.
