“Go And Settle With Okoye Family First Then Come Back And Preach For Us About One Nigeria” – Nigerians Drag Peter Okoye Over Ibadan Clash

Nigerians have heavenly dragged Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, on social media for calling for the end to the clash between Hausas and Yorubas in the Shasha market, Ibadan.

The singer and songwriter took to his official Twitter handle and called for everyone’s unity, regardless of their tribes.

According to the former member of the defunct PSquare music group, he is an Igbo man who married a Yoruba woman. Adding that he grew up in the north, schooled in the north, started his career in the North, and today he speaks the Hausa language fluently.

Taking to the microblogging platform, Peter Okoye wrote;

However, some Nigerians took to the comment section and dragged him by saying he should go and settle with the Okoye family first, then come back and preach for them about one Nigeria.
