18 year old Kelvin Odartei who lives at Tabora and schools at Cosmos International has built his own Gull-wing door 2016 Tesla Model X car, after completing his BECE.
The Gull-wing door innovation is an automotive industry term describing car doors that are hinged at the roof rather than the side, as pioneered by the 1952 Mercedes-Benz 300SL race car and its road-legal version introduced in 1954.
Infact he has been driving that same car to school whiles he was writing his papers.
In an exclusive interview with UTV’s Afua Pokua, which was closely monitored by newshubgh.com the genius said he was helped by 7 financiers who are also his mates when he was building it.

According to reports he built the car by himself and decided to drive it around to prove it works perfectly well.
In a circulating video, you can see the car functioning well as he drives it around as his neighbors cheer him up while others record the moment and share it online.
Kelvin Odartey is a student of Abeka Motorway Junior High School suited at Tabora Chantan but wrote his Basic Education Certificate Examination at Cosmos International School.
The educational service should implement in the system technical and vocational skills to be taught in schools that will go a long way to help unearth the God-given talents in students.

During an interview with United Television (Utv) Kelvin Odartey said he started by building small cars years back.
According to the young talented boy when he became more experienced he decided to build a bigger car with the help of his seven friends who also helped him financially.
He also revealed that he has started teaching or training his friends to assemble the car part by themselves.
